TEDx Railway Village is the first ever TEDx event to take place in Swindon.

Taking place at the Historic Town Hall Studios in the heart of the Railway Village, TEDx Railway Village brings together a carefully curated group of speakers, artists, thinkers, entrepreneurs, educators, community leaders and creatives for a full day of inspiring talks and conversation under the theme:

Lines of Connection

This independently organised TEDx event explores the invisible threads that connect people, ideas, technology, creativity, memory, wellbeing, culture and community.

Across the day, audiences will experience a diverse programme of short TEDx talks designed to spark curiosity, challenge assumptions and open up new ways of thinking. Speakers come from a range of backgrounds including science, heritage, performance, mental health, innovation, business, education, storytelling and the arts.

The event is intentionally intimate, with a limited audience of around 100 attendees, creating a more personal and immersive TEDx experience while allowing ideas and conversations to resonate beyond the room through professionally filmed talks shared globally via TEDx platforms.

Alongside the talks, guests will have opportunities to meet speakers, connect with fellow attendees and experience the creative atmosphere of the Railway Village — one of Swindon’s most important historic and cultural locations.

TEDx Railway Village is produced by Lines of Connection CIC in collaboration with local creative and cultural partners, celebrating Swindon’s identity as a place of innovation, imagination and human connection.

Doors open at 9:00am, with talks beginning from 10:00am. The day includes refreshment breaks and lunch.
