Jodie Foster plays the cold yet charming psychiatrist Lilian Syeiner, whose reputation is in jeopardy when one of her patients dies suddenly, and the family comes knocking for answers. With the family not believing her declaration of innocence for any wrongdoing, Syeiner takes it on herself to investigate what really happened.

This sleek and stylish murder mystery sees Foster nestle into French life, tackling her own personal grievances with her son and ex-husband, while unknowingly being at the centre of her dead patients’ tumultuous private life.
