Lydiard House Museum will be open Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm, from 10th to 18th October.

A new display, Murder at the Inn, will shed light on the notorious 1684 brawl involving MPs Henry St John and Edmund Webb, which resulted in the murder of Sir William Estcourt MP.
Visitors will be able to see a newly-acquired painting of Estcourt, as well as Henry St John’s official pardon from King Charles II.
Admission costs £6.70 for an adult and £3.65 for a child (under 3s go free). Family tickets are also available.
Guided tours with cream tea will also take place throughout the week, offering visitors the chance to hear more stories about some of Lydiard’s other rogues and rascals. £20 per person.
Please note: Rogues and Rascals Week guided tours are not suitable for children.
