Raw Material is a collection of SLART's raw expressionist paintings. They come out of real things: a birth, a death, an illness, love, a bad week. SLART is self-taught and unpolished on purpose, in the lineage of art brut. Faces, figures and the occasional true sentence. SLART is co-founder of Studio BRUT, Swindon's outsider art studio.
