Local Charity Art Auction for Prospect Hospice

Title: Local Charity Art Auction for Prospect Hospice. All money raised through the auction will go to Prospect Hospice, Swindon.

Jeremy Holt, a retired solicitor and former President of the Rotary Club of Swindon and local artist Caroline Day are holding a Charity Fine Art Auction for Prospect Hospice – a local charity which provides care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Great Western Way, Swindon SN5 8UZ, will be holding the event on Monday 19th October – viewing from 6pm, auction starts from 7pm. Free Entry. Jeremy Holt decided to organise this event because he has previously organised two highly successful charity art auctions in partnership with local artists and would like to run another!

Caroline Day, a professional fine artist, and founder of community online gallery Visual Art Swindon is excited to help organize the event. Caroline said “Local artists have donated thousands in paintings! We just need people to turn paintings into pounds to help open more beds at Prospect! It should be a fun way to donate to Prospect, whilst leaving with an amazing piece of art! There will be a variety of fine art paintings and limited edition fine art prints all kindly donated by both highly prestigious professional and emerging local artists. Some will be sold under the hammer at the auction, and the rest will be offered at a fixed price. The money the charity art auction raises will go towards Prospect Hospice’s vital services, such as the charity’s inpatient unit and Prospect@Home care service.
