Tuesday 27th October: The Bayeux Tapestry

Interactive storytelling in the museum galleries 30m sessions, £4 per person

Listen to the tall tale of 1066 and discover Swindon’s unique role in the Tapestry. Learn battle tactics and handle original artefacts from the time.

Craft Workshops 1hr sessions at 11.15 & 1.45, £5 per child

Learn how the Tapestry was made, weave a spider web and create a mini embroidery pumpkin.
