This month's drawing theme

Every second Monday each month, upstairs at The Hop becomes an art studio.

Two-hour themed life drawing sessions upstairs at the Hop. The life-drawing models strike variety of poses wearing a variety of costumes. Each look created by the fabulously creative Sue and Ellie, media make-up tutors, who create incredible looks through the power or make-up, wigs, props and a never-ending dressing-up wardrobe.

Relaxed and supportive environment, with model’s poses lasting various lengths of time, a couple of breaks to get a drink, and prizes given to the person who draws the models’ favourite drawing.

Bring your own materials, £15 per session (cash or card on the night).

Open to everyone from established artists to first-timers.

No need to book – just come along.

Past sessions have been inspired by mythical creatures, William Morris, Spain, music, Valentine’s Day, Swindon Paint Fest, habadashery, Glastonbury, Disney villains, Amy Winehouse, Elvis, Hallowe’en, Vivienne Westwood… and more
